How Sparking works
1. Register your car or cars and one of your credit or debit cards.
2. Open Sparking app as soon as you get into your car and type in your destination.
3. Choose the parking spot closest to your destination and pick your favourite navigation app.
4/1. You don’t have anything to do with our application from this point on if you plan to park in one of our automated parking lots:
- Your car is automatically identified at the gate and parking starts.
- The same convenient flow applies for leaving the place: the gate opens instantly and your parking ends without any additional transaction cost.
4/2. If you pick a conventional parking lot then you still don’t have anything to do in our app. However your parking flow and payment method depends solely on the chosen place.
At card registry 1000 HUF deposit is issued. This ensures that gates to open automatically even without money on the card so you will always have a seamless parking experience. The deposit is immediately transferred back to you when you delete your account at Sparking.
We are making more and more automatic parking lots available to you. These places have been hidden or you had to fiddle with the old school parking tickets. Help us find the hidden gems, report these places to us if you want your favourite place to be included on our map. We may find a way to upgrade them. (We are working on making street parking available in Sparking too…)
